A lot of my clients at Roar Boudoir turn into friends. Sometimes I meet a client whose just a little left of center, like me. When you get an email asking if they can bring, and be photographed with a bucket of fried chicken you book that shoot ASAP. Miss C. was seriously so amazing to have in the studio. I hope she comes back with another, out there, yet awesome request. She was gracious enough to let me share her images, I think they turned out beautifully!
This year we set the goal of doing at least one traveling shoot. I'm very pleased to say that we had a blast in Durham, NC recently. Although we don't often stray from our studio, it was refreshing to shoot in a completely new space. We meet some lovely local ladies who came in for shoots and got to experience a whole new city. We have so much fun changing up your looks during your session! We're able to take you from innocent to total vampy in the same session. One of our recent clients was kind enough to let us share some of her images anonymously. We started off all white and more playful- and ended up in an all black everything sex kitten look! We're always open to whatever look you want to convey, and are more than happy to give you a bit of variety.
Miss T. showed up for her session bearing gifts of super tasty jello shots. Which according to her husband is something she does quite often! We love how Miss T. could go from biker babe to a total Marilyn Monroe in no time flat. We had such a blast at her session, and are so glad she let us share some of her photos. We cracked probably too many jokes, and can't wait for Miss T to find another excuse to come hang out with us! I mean, how awesome does she look a leather chaps? Maybe next time we can fit her Harley into a shoot!

Miss A. heard about our studio in one our favorite ways. Her best friend had recently had a session done and couldn't wait to share what a great experience she had. When Miss A. saw her photos she knew she had to come and book a session herself. We loved having her in the studio. We've been working on so many new sets recently, and it's awesome we finally can share a taste of those with all of our readers. We've been having a blast on the boho inspired set, as well as our wintery inspired fur set. We adore all the photos we've been getting from our recent sessions. That's one of the best things about having your own dedicated boudoir space, the total creative control!

Tina was such a wonderful last minute addition to our last marathon shoot. She was fun and easy to work with. She brought some very fun pieces to her shoot, including the red dress from her first date with her boyfriend. It's creative ideas like that, that we love when clients recommend! One of the best parts of this job is meeting people outside your social circle. Lauren is such a great example of that! She's another local business woman who we totally clicked with as soon as she arrived. She even brought us the most amazing gifts. Her shoot went so well! Ashley was nervous before her shoot, not that you can tell by her photos. Sometimes it can be very head to get into the right mindset to do your boudoir session. It's easy to let your self doubt and body insecurities get the better you. After taking a couple shots I shower her the first photo below. She said something akin to "How are you making me look like that?" To which I responded, "It's not that hard when you already do look like that, I couldn't show you something that wasn't there!". It's really true, sometimes it can really take an outside eye for a woman to understand how beautiful she really is! As women, we can be totally, devastatingly, hard on ourselves - often for no good reason at all. Like Ashley, I promise you're beautiful too, even if you don't realize it at this second.
