I’ve been getting a few emails recntly about people asking if our studio does bridal boudoir— This is so interesting to me because back when I opened Roar brides were basically our only clients! There’s been a huge cultural shift to where you don’t need to be giving boudoir photos as a gift anymore to have an excuse to do them, but we totally still shoot brides! One of the caveats with shooting for brides though is that we don’t have a ton of images to share, most choose to keep their photos private and for their partners. Keeping images private isn’t ever an issue for us! I thought I’d grab a few photos of some recent bridal to shots.

A bridal boudoir session is usually just like one of our regular sessions, though maybe we add a viel for an outfit change, or you include your ring or bridal shoes. We have had a few clients bring in their gown for a “getting ready” kind of boudoir shot. I’m flexible and can make whatever your bridal boudoir dreams might be come true!

I’ll be honest, I actually hated the idea of these sessions. Not because they weren’t going to be beautiful, but because my Virgo rising shuddered at the thought of clean up. Sure, we could do these outside- but anyone who really knows me knows that I also hate being at the whims of the weather. So with a lot of taped down tarps I’m trying my best not to let the glitter fallout get to me. Honestly, I’m glad I did. I LOVE this mini session so much!

I get a number of questions about my VIP Boudoir club Roar Society, so I thought I’d take a quick second to give you the run down. My VIP Boudoir club is simply a private closed group (a “club” if you will) that consists of current, past, and future boudoir clients. It’s a safe space for you to ask questions and share inspirational images or stories, to collaborate and bond with other women who are just like you. All members of Roar Society are women.

I’ll also use this group to post upcoming mini session dates, specials, and to get feedback on new ideas for my studio regarding locations, props, new products, and even editing styles. For example all these images our from our newest mini session offering #hotlinebabe. “What an amazing experience and stunning photos. I had an appointment in early October and still haven’t picked a favorite! I will most certainly be going back!”

This beautiful babe came for some classic glam in our private studio. Her day job is totally bad ass. She’s a mechanic for planes and seems to be damn good at it! I always wanted to be a pilot, but fun fact I have a eye that doesn’t work so well so I wouldn’t pass the vision test. Good thing you only need one eye for the viewfinder of a camera right?

But less about me, more about this boss babe! I hope you’re back soon, you were amazing to shoot!

This beautiful woman came in to the studio not long after giving birth to her little bundle of joy. No matter what body you have, childbirth can be a total body change and is hard for a lot of women to deal with. We want you to know that we’re here to help you on the path to loving yourself again. We love helping brides give their grooms the ultimate grooms gift. What can be better than giving him something you already know he wants? This green eyed beauty came into the studio looking for exactly that. She absolutely rocked her session, even though she said the very idea of this session was outside of her comfort zone. We were there to guide her every step of the way- from how to hold her mouth in the right shape to where to point her toes. You do not need to consider yourself sexy to be able to do a boudoir session! You'll totally feel that way after we reveal your images to you though. We will help you find your best lighting, angles and poses. Even the most nervous of clients tell us that our shoots feel like they're just hanging out with a bunch of girlfriends. We promise to make it fun! 

We had the wonderful Miss M. in the studio this past weekend. She totally rocked her session! We loved her dramatic hair and makeup that Becci created for her. It totally helped her feel like a goddess, and when you feel good it translates into your photos. We introduced our milk bath sessions as our first creative mini shoot. Milk bath shoots are super popular with many of our client's thanks to the boho, ethereal look it can give. Maternity and beauty shoot both look amazing in our milk bath set! In addition to being able to book the milk bath set in our creative mini sessions, you can also add the milk bath session on to any solo session! 

Our beautiful client featured in this blog post opted to include it, and we think her photos came out absolutely marvelously! We also wanted to thank her for allowing us to share some of her favorites. 

We’ve had some absolutely amazing clients in the studio recently. One of them being the beautiful Miss J. She stunned us in a red velvet bodysuit from the Roar Boudoir wardrobe. She was giving us total Melisandre vibes from Game Of Thrones, which we all collectively nerded out about together. We’re glad that we had your perfect lingerie in studio, that gave you options you wouldn’t have considered normally.  Miss J. loved her images so much that she changed her mind on releasing the photos online once she saw how gorgeous they turned out. I hope you can look at these photos and remember what a strong, beautiful, and sexy creature you can be. We love that you’re letting us share how fabulous you look.

During our last bridal show we had a contest where one lucky winner would get a free boudoir session with us. Miss K. was out lucky winner, and we had such a blast shooting with her! Here's are just a few of her final images, we had so much fun pairing her hair up to some of our pink backdrops. Miss K has already mentioned coming in again, and we can't wait to have her back! "Anna and Paige were wonderful to work with! I won a shoot through a contest. They were great at posing and making you feel comfortable while looking your best, plus they're all about body positivity! They also have nice quality packages plus payment plans, so you don't have to pay it all at once if you're on a budget! Their studio is cute with different backdrops and sets. I had fun before the shoot when we did hair and make up, they even had wine! 10/10 recommend."

Miss D. is always a blast to shoot with. We had fun playing around with our newer sets, and even got into a bit of  a pillow fight! Thanks so much for letting us share some of your images D! We always love shooting with you! 

Miss L. is one beautiful bad ass babe! We were so happy to have in her in Roar Studios this past weekend. She'd just come off of an MMA fight the day before, how cool is that? Our clients are all so talented, Miss L. being no expection. We love the finished images for her shoot, and are so flattered she's allowing us to share them with you! 

Awesome ladies! Professional, creative. They made me feel so comfortable! The studio and lingerie are beautiful, so many options. And the stylist Destiny is great too! I loved everything about it!

Miss S. came to us to schedule a session for herself. She's endured body image issues for a long time and thought that doing a boudoir shoot would be a step towards loving herself more, and we couldn't agree more! We were elated to help her on her self-image journey! Roar Boudoir believes in body positivity and practice it in all our photo shoots.
