I’ve been getting a few emails recntly about people asking if our studio does bridal boudoir— This is so interesting to me because back when I opened Roar brides were basically our only clients! There’s been a huge cultural shift to where you don’t need to be giving boudoir photos as a gift anymore to have an excuse to do them, but we totally still shoot brides! One of the caveats with shooting for brides though is that we don’t have a ton of images to share, most choose to keep their photos private and for their partners. Keeping images private isn’t ever an issue for us! I thought I’d grab a few photos of some recent bridal to shots.

A bridal boudoir session is usually just like one of our regular sessions, though maybe we add a viel for an outfit change, or you include your ring or bridal shoes. We have had a few clients bring in their gown for a “getting ready” kind of boudoir shot. I’m flexible and can make whatever your bridal boudoir dreams might be come true!

We love helping brides give their grooms the ultimate grooms gift. What can be better than giving him something you already know he wants? This green eyed beauty came into the studio looking for exactly that. She absolutely rocked her session, even though she said the very idea of this session was outside of her comfort zone. We were there to guide her every step of the way- from how to hold her mouth in the right shape to where to point her toes. You do not need to consider yourself sexy to be able to do a boudoir session! You'll totally feel that way after we reveal your images to you though. We will help you find your best lighting, angles and poses. Even the most nervous of clients tell us that our shoots feel like they're just hanging out with a bunch of girlfriends. We promise to make it fun!

Bridal season has been awesome this year! We love all our brides! It's so cool seeing all the unique touches they've been putting on their ceremonies. This bride definitely wanted to convey a more country feel, and even brought her intended's cowboy hat! Thank you for letting us share some of your photos! All of us here at Roar Boudoir are truly blessed to be able to do what we love, and have an impact on women's lives. For anybody looking into having a boudoir shoot I would say, just do it! I looked into having a shoot done as a wedding gift for my fiancee, and before I decided to do it I did a LOT of research. I can honestly say, I kind of wanted to do this for me as well, because I have just never seen myself and gorgeous or sexy. I was, however, for the same reason very nervous about the shoot. I met with Paige and Anna before the shoot just to talk about how it would go and to get ideas, from the first time I met them to the shoot they put my mind so at ease and they were a blast to work with, along with their stylist Destiny. I had so much fun on my shoot! They all had me laughing in no time, trying things that may have seemed so ridiculous at the time, but created fantastic photographs The way they work together as photographers is awesome to watch as well. What they created is a true work of art, and while I didn't think that a boudoir shoot was something I would ever spend the money on again I really can't wait to find an excuse do it again! The only thing I regret was having to decide between the photos to create the album. I can't wait to give my album to my husband on the night of our wedding and see his reaction! (And I might have to hide the album from myself so I don't stare at it, ha ha!)

I am still so in love with my photos and cannot wait to get my album! I will truly be hard pressed to give it up to my sister to hide it until my wedding day, but I know it will be a hit! With my house rennovation and wedding planning every week has been so hectic, but not a week goes by that I don't stop to look at my photos at some point because I am still so over the moon in love with them! I haven't had super self conscious issues but I have never looked at my self as really beautiful, but these photos make me feel much more than just beautiful. When I look at them I think maybe I see what my fiancee has been seeing all along, thank you for that! It is just a matter of time before I find a reason to have another photo shoot with you! (And I can't wait to see what changes have happened to your studio :) )

Miss L. came to us to do a boudoir session for her upcoming nuptials. She ended up ordering one of our Big Black Books, which we're told was very well received by her lucky groom. Sometimes the best gift to give can be yourself! Miss L. graciously allowed us to share a few of her favorite photos with you, and we're so glad she did. We absolutely love her high waisted garter panty. Here at Roar Boudoir we're constantly trying to dispel the myth that a high waisted panty is a "Granny Panty". When you find something high waisted that fits you properly, it can do wonderful things for you body! Case in point, when Miss L. put her black set on, our jaws dropped. Miss L. is beautiful no matter what she wears, but that lingerie set accented her awesome curves amazingly well. Miss L. loved her photos, and we're so glad she chose to work with Roar Boudoir! 

H, stands for Harley Quinn in case you're wondering. We don't get to shoot too many costumes, so I was really excited when she pulled out this awesome Harley Quinn get-up! We love Halloween here at Roar Boudoir, so this definitely got us into the holiday spirit. Mrs. H's shoot was a total blast!
