Here's another Roar Studio 201 shoot from this past weekend. We're absolutely loving the new space and the freedom it's giving us creatively! 

Lexi was an absolute pleasure to work with! We're also obsessed with her hair! I mean how could you not be? Shooting with Lexi just felt like some girl time, which is one of my favorite types of shoots. There's seriously nothing better than being able to let your guard down and just have a blast on set. Thank you so much Lexi for letting us share your awesome shoot!

"The wonderful ladies at Roar Boudoir took all of the worry out of the experience! With help posing, encouragement throughout, and sneak peeks from the back of the camera, they had me completely comfortable which is tough to be in your undies! They are wonderful, professional, and completely welcoming. I am not the model body type by any means, and they had me looking and feeling like a supermodel. The photos I got back are breathtaking. I cannot thank Roar Boudoir enough for making me feel so beautiful!!!"

Miss D. was our first official shoot in one of our two new studio spaces. We've been renovating both studios these past few months and finally have one finished and ready for shooting! Roar Boudoir Studio 201 is our modern and bright space. It's super versatile and has an awesome selection of furniture and props to work with. 

We were both super excited to actually get into our new space and have complete control over our shoots. It's a total breath of fresh air in comparison to on location shooting (which we still love as well!). There's so many new goodies that come along with it. All different kinds of lighting, backdrops, props and poses. What a great time to flex some creative muscles! 

Miss D. was our very first shoot in Studio 201. She was such a joy to photograph and was open to our direction which made the shoot a breeze. We even used a very minimal wardrobe selection. You don't need any fancy lingerie to do boudoir! Destiny came in with a simple black bra and panties, and a white button up shirt. Her images came out so beautifully, and we're so proud to share them. Thank you so much Destiny for allowing us to share these wonderful shots! You're Beautiful!

Amazing right? Studio 201 has been a complete success so far, and we can't wait to share what's going on at Studio 300 once that's done this august as well! Where Studio 201 is modern and bright, Studio 300 will be dark, moody, and timeless. So excited for you to watch us grow! 

You may recognize Becca. She was one of our first models, frequent shooting assistant, and all around babe! We did a quick home session for her recently and thought they would be lovely to share! In home sessions are available on some of our packages. They can be a great option for some people, but aren't ideal in all scenarios. If that's something that interests you, please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your options!  We had a lot of fun playing with light, check out a small sampling of the photos below. 

We had the distinct pleasure to photograph Julie G. a few weeks ago at the delicious Queen City Vignette studio.  The light, the props, this bombshell babe; it was perfection! Julie's a great person to be around.  She's smart, sassy, has a great sense of humor, is an absolute knockout, and she knows her way around a cocktail.  My kinda girl!   I love the little emerald green teddy she's wearing in these first shots, jewel tones always make for really dramatic photos and this green really compliments her blonde hair and that super fun red lip!

Tina was such a wonderful last minute addition to our last marathon shoot. She was fun and easy to work with. She brought some very fun pieces to her shoot, including the red dress from her first date with her boyfriend. It's creative ideas like that, that we love when clients recommend! Special pieces that invoke memories of the person you might be gifting your shoot to are always a lovely touch. Thanks so much Tina for letting us share your images! 

One of the best parts of this job is meeting people outside your social circle. Lauren is such a great example of that! She's another local business woman who we totally clicked with as soon as she arrived. She even brought us the most amazing gifts. Her shoot went so well! We have so many amazing photos to share with you.

She just tied the knot, and gave her hubby some of our products. Her photos made such a good gift for the lucky groom leading up to your wedding. Celebrate the beauty of your body!  Thanks so much for giving us permission to share Lauren!

Skye came in last month for a barebones session. It's a great budget option if you aren't able to book a marathon date.  Skye was amazing in the short time we got her, and double amazing when we found out she had recently given birth to her beautiful son! No matter what stage of life you're in - you're body is beautiful and awe inspiring! Ready for some stunning photos?

Ashley was nervous before her shoot, not that you can tell by her photos. Sometimes it can be very head to get into the right mindset to do your boudoir session. It's easy to let your self doubt and body insecurities get the better you. After taking a couple shots I shower her the first photo below. She said something akin to "How are you making me look like that?" To which I responded, "It's not that hard when you already do look like that, I couldn't show you something that wasn't there!". It's really true, sometimes it can really take an outside eye for a woman to understand how beautiful she really is! As women, we can be totally, devastatingly, hard on ourselves -  often for no good reason at all. Like Ashley, I promise you're beautiful too, even if you don't realize it at this second. 

I'm so glad ashley was willing to let us share these photos with you, and I hope you can appreciate her beauty as much as we do! 

Rebecca contacted us after seeing our interview over at Cincinnati Refined.  She was such a joy to work with and so easy to shoot. Like most of our clients she was nervous before her shoot, but said we made her feel at ease from the get go. She told us that she had wished boudoir photography had been something that was an option when she was younger, but I commend her for booking with us now! Just remember, your body is beautiful now, wherever you're at. We just want to help you see that! Thank you so much Rebecca for letting us photograph you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the experience as much as you did.

I've known Becca P. for pretty much my entire life. She said she was nervous before the shoot, and didn't know how to pose. As soon as we got her behind the camera she just kind of turn it on, it being her total magnetism. 

She pointed her toes, gave us some pretty sultry bedroom eyes, and was all around so easy to shoot. For someone that didn't know how to pose, it came quite naturally to her. 

I love her mane of hair. It was so fun to play with while we shot. Sometimes the only outfit you need is your hair am I right?

A total Aphrodite. Thanks so much for letting us take these wonderful photographs of you! 

Sam D. has an awesome sense of humor. She's whip smart, and a babe to top it all off. Seriously a breeze to photograph. Even though her session was at 10 o'clock at night, were were able to get some amazing stuff. We had already been shooting all day, but stick a camera in our hands and were ready to go whenever you are! 

Sam might have the longest, pretty wonderful, limbs ever. And her Indonesian features are seriously stunning. W are so happy to be able to help her appreciate her body form through the photographs from our boudoir session.

Chloe is beautiful. Chloe is Sexy. Chloe is Pregnant. These statements are not mutually exclusive. While boudoir isn't the first kind of maternity photography that most people think of, it's a beautiful way to capture your body for the short time that you are pregnant. It's also one of the times in a woman's like were seriously pampering should be required! I was so honored to be able to take these pictures of Chloe B. during this time in her life. Not shortly after these photos were taken she found out she's having a little boy! I couldn't be happier for them! 

Chloe was so easy to photograph! It was so hard to whittle down her photo set to the one's your seeing here. Every shot was seriously beautiful! 

Can't wait to meet your little bundle of joy Chloe! I'm so glad we were able to give your photos that you love! I hope you cherish them as much as we do. 

As a photographer, you have certain friends you just really want to photograph. Amy is one of the those friends. She has seriously one of the prettiest red manes I've ever seen in real life. My hair envy goes through the roof when she's around. Lucky for me, I've finally gotten to photographer her. I'm so beyond pleased with her photos. 

From sweet to total minx amy was able to pull off so many looks without a hitch.

It happened to be Alycia B's birthday weekend when we shot this set, and is there a better way to spend part of your birthday weekend than pampering yourself? Hair, makeup, amazing pictures to document what a total babe you are, count me in!

Alycia has lost a large amount of weight over the past few years, and told us this when we delivered her photos. "I had fun and I freaking love them! I look so hot! Which is a good feeling for any woman, but even more so for a woman that has lost quite a bit of weight and is trying to be comfortable with her curves!"

I couldn't agree more, Alycia you look amazing! You've worked hard for the body you want.

Annie R. was one of the very first girls into the studio this past weekend. She was an absolute joy to work with! We got so many amazing shots of her, the sampling you see here is just a small percentage of our favorite shots. Annie has one of the most infectious smiles ever!

Annie R. was so easy and laid back during her shoot, she even educated us on Trap music, which totally made her shoot feel like a party.
