Miss E. wanted the perfect Christmas present for her husband, and did she ever deliver. We had so many clients come in this holiday season to create stunning gifts for themselves and their partners this year. It’s one of my favorite “busy seasons” for the studio. I know that Miss. E’s partner loved the photos, and the topping on the cake is their now expecting their first child! Talk about the real perfect present. Thank you so much for letting me share your beautiful images!

We love helping brides give their grooms the ultimate grooms gift. What can be better than giving him something you already know he wants? This green eyed beauty came into the studio looking for exactly that. She absolutely rocked her session, even though she said the very idea of this session was outside of her comfort zone. We were there to guide her every step of the way- from how to hold her mouth in the right shape to where to point her toes. You do not need to consider yourself sexy to be able to do a boudoir session! You'll totally feel that way after we reveal your images to you though. We will help you find your best lighting, angles and poses. Even the most nervous of clients tell us that our shoots feel like they're just hanging out with a bunch of girlfriends. We promise to make it fun! 

This year we set the goal of doing at least one traveling shoot. I'm very pleased to say that we had a blast in Durham, NC recently. Although we don't often stray from our studio, it was refreshing to shoot in a completely new space. We meet some lovely local ladies who came in for shoots and got to experience a whole new city. We often get clients that would like to keep their sessions with Roar Boudoir a more private affair. That is absolutely fine! We value and respect your privacy here. Sometimes those same clients want a way to sing our praises from the rooftops but aren't comfortable with posting a review under their real name. Destiny did my hair and makeup and was wonderful, I felt so pampered and pretty.  It felt like just a fun day with my close girlfriends, chatting about our lives and laughing I felt so comfortable with them and was not the least bit embarrassed once it was time to get close to naked and act sexy. We often get clients that are stressed out about what to bring to a shoot. Never fear! Not only do we give you our comprehensive lingerie guide when you book, we also have an expansive wardrobe with so many different sizes and styles you're welcome to borrow when you shoot! Everything including heels, garter belts, bodysuits, jewelry and so much more.

We also encourage our clients to think a little outside the box in what they bring to their session. This beautiful, anonymous, client brought a sheer shirt and her partner's button down. We worked with this client to find ways to make the button down sexy, which wasn't hard! We kept this set more minimal and let the focus be our client's awesome smile and totally stunning bod. It's been awhile since we've done a behind the scenes video, so we thought we'd share one of our recent shoots! Billie had an amazing marathon session with us this October. Her photos turned out stunning, and we're so proud of this set! We especially loved being able to share her session because she's wearing exclusively pieces from the Roar Boudoir wardrobe. We're always expanding the offerings we can let clients borrow for the shoot! 

We love it when our clients let us share their sessions, at whatever level they're comfortable with. This beautiful redhead agreed to share some images from her session were we kept her face obscured. We had an absolute blast at the studio with her! 

Miss R. came to us to give her future husband the ultimate groom's gift for her recent wedding. We had a blast creating some seriously sexy looks to put into the album she gave her betrothed the day of their wedding. We love going a bit dark and moody when a client allows- Miss R. was a total blonde bombshell at her photoshoot. She loved her photos, and agreed to allow us to share some here on the blog. Thank you for letting us show everyone else how amazing you look! 

You might also notice that the website and logo have changed a bit! We're always striving to be a better, more creative, more exciting company here at Roar Boudoir. Now that we've been in the boudoir business for three, nearly four years, we were ready for a bit of an update. Whatever our look we're still delivering some of the most beautiful boudoir photography in the Cincinnati area, from our studio is still located in our beloved neighborhood of Pleasant Ridge. We've been hard at work this bridal season, and are a bit behind with our blog posts. First up in our scheduled postings we have a georgous, darker, anonymous boudoir session. 

Sometimes it's nice to let the photos speak for themselves. We're loving the way our new backdrop gives us kind of a classic oil painting look. It doesn't hurt that Miss B is an absolute stunner! We had so much fun in studio with Miss R. We played with some new lighting set ups and got some amazing photos! We also were able to shoot a behind the scenes video too, so make sure to check that out above as well! Thanks fo joining us Miss R. We can't wait to have you back! 

We're so honored that Miss L let us share some of the images from her session! She's also a fellow woman who runs a business. We connected on not only our the struggles and joys of running your own business as women but how important it is to take care of yourself and appreciate that womanhood. We had a little fun this halloween with Miss N. and went totally vampy. We also had some fun with lingerie and animal ears! Thank you so much Miss. N for letting us share some of your georgeuous images! 

Miss D. came to us having wanted to do a boudoir session for years, something always came up.  This year she decided to follow through on getting the boudoir session of her dreams. We are so pleased that we were able to show Miss D. what a total babe she really is! Thank you for letting us share some of your beautiful images! 

Miss S. was a total blast to shoot! We loved everything she brought. From the gold lame bikini, to her fedora, and most of all her stockings with bows. Thank you even more for allowing us to share a few photos of you that we absolutely love. Miss S. was a total peach, she even told us that it was "a shame we couldn't do this every weekend!". We agree, we'll totally help you find an excuse to come back! 

Sometimes our clients really want to share their boudoir session photos, but want to remain anonymous. Miss T. showed up for her session bearing gifts of super tasty jello shots. Which according to her husband is something she does quite often!  We love how Miss T. could go from biker babe to a total Marilyn Monroe in no time flat. We had such a blast at her session, and are so glad she let us share some of her photos. We cracked probably too many jokes, and can't wait for Miss T to find another excuse to come hang out with us! I mean, how awesome does she look a leather chaps? Maybe next time we can fit her Harley into a shoot!

All of us here at Roar Boudoir are truly blessed to be able to do what we love, and have an impact on women's lives. We often get emails from our clients telling us how much they loved their shoot, and how beautiful their photos make them  feel. Our goal from the inception of Roar Boudoir was to show every one of our Clients how beautiful they really are, and I'm proud to say we've been upholding that goal 100%! We'd like to share a testimonial one of our recent Clients emailed us. She has asked to remain anonymous, and we're happy to oblige. 

For anybody looking into having a boudoir shoot I would say, just do it! I looked into having a shoot done as a wedding gift for my fiancee, and before I decided to do it I did a LOT of research. I can honestly say, I kind of wanted to do this for me as well, because I have just never seen myself and gorgeous or sexy. I was, however, for the same reason very nervous about the shoot. I met with Paige and Anna before the shoot just to talk about how it would go and to get ideas, from the first time I met them to the shoot they put my mind so at ease and they were a blast to work with, along with their stylist Destiny. I had so much fun on my shoot! They all had me laughing in no time, trying things that may have seemed so ridiculous at the time, but created fantastic photographs The way they work together as photographers is awesome to watch as well. What they created is a true work of art, and while I didn't think that a boudoir shoot was something I would ever spend the money on again I really can't wait to find an excuse do it again! The only thing I regret was having to decide between the photos to create the album. I can't wait to give my album to my husband on the night of our wedding and see his reaction! (And I might have to hide the album from myself so I don't stare at it, ha ha!)

I am still so in love with my photos and cannot wait to get my album! I will truly be hard pressed to give it up to my sister to hide it until my wedding day, but I know it will be a hit! With my house rennovation and wedding planning every week has been so hectic, but not a week goes by that I don't stop to look at my photos at some point because I am still so over the moon in love with them! I haven't had super self conscious issues but I have never looked at my self as really beautiful, but these photos make me feel much more than just beautiful. When I look at them I think maybe I see what my fiancee has been seeing all along, thank you for that! It is just a matter of time before I find a reason to have another photo shoot with you! (And I can't wait to see what changes have happened to your studio :) )

Here at the Roar Boudoir Studios we pride ourselves in the fact that we genuinely believe in the power of self-image, but very rarely are we rewarded with such an encouraging story as this. Miss K came to us in September for a photoshoot, she was absolutely thrilled with her final images and after showing them to her husband sent us an email explaining just how much her session meant to her.  She asked that we keep her anonymous, so is referred to here with a pseudonym.

You guys are amazing and did such an awesome job!! I had so much fun and felt so surprisingly comfortable doing the shoot. I love all of the poses that you knew to do. They're all very flattering to my body. I love how you edited everything and softened all of the photos without editing out every single detail of my body because, as you said, it is me...and I do love my body, quirks and flaws and all!

On a more serious note, you ladies have no idea what you have done for how I feel about my body right now. This kind of happened with perfect timing. I had a very unexpected miscarriage in March. I was 12 weeks along, which is when everyone tells you you're pretty "safe" to feel sure about everything. It was devastating, and we have been struggling with getting pregnant again since then. I have been having a daily hate relationship with my body for the past several months because of all of that. Not with how I look, but with how it's working. And I want to tell you that doing this shoot has really changed that for me. The way I felt during the shoot, how excited my husband was about it when I came home from the shoot, how much I love all of the photos and feel not just hot but beautiful when I see them. You have no idea what that has done for my frame of mind. 

So I just want to thank you for such an awesome experience! Like I said, I am telling all of my friends that they need to try this out sometime. And maybe when I show them some of the photos, they will get on board with it! You ladies rock, and you are doing wonderful things for women. I hope your business continues to thrive and burst at the seams with customers!

Hi Anna and Paige! I just wanted to write you to tell you once again how much my photos mean to me. I mentioned to you guys that I had a miscarriage earlier this year and was having trouble getting pregnant.  My boudoir photo shoot made me love my body again, and my husband absolutely loves the photos.  Well, I have an update...I'm pregnant!  I will be 12 weeks (the "safe zone" of the second trimester) on the day after Christmas.  I can't help but feel that my photo shoot did something to help this.  I think it took a lot of stress off of me when I regained my good relationship with my body.  And stress can negatively affect a lot of things with your body.  Aaand...I got pregnant the same month that I got my photos back from you guys.  Just sayin...!  Now that I'm in the "do I look chubby or do I look pregnant" awkward first phase of pregnancy, it's very nice to be able to look at my photos and say "See, it's okay.  I'm still a hottie."
You guys are wonderful.  I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

We've never felt more strongly that we're doing good things! Most of us struggle inwardly with our self-image, putting ourselves down for being something less than perfect, when we're all human, we are none of us perfect, and we all need to learn to love and accept ourselves and others as we are.
