I’ll be honest, I actually hated the idea of these sessions. Not because they weren’t going to be beautiful, but because my Virgo rising shuddered at the thought of clean up. Sure, we could do these outside- but anyone who really knows me knows that I also hate being at the whims of the weather. So with a lot of taped down tarps I’m trying my best not to let the glitter fallout get to me. Honestly, I’m glad I did. I LOVE this mini session so much!
The longer we do the black light mini sessions the messier it gets! I’m loving the almost spacey vibes the paint gives this babe. That’s the some other worldly art!
Did you know you can add one of our mini sets to your session for a small additional fee? Reach out if you want to now more about this special offer!

I adore our flower child mini session- but have to be honest- it’s not our most popular mini session offering. That being said I was so incredibly excited when this babe booked it! Love the energy she brought to this set!

What in the world is a milk bath boudoir shoot? It’s often something I get asked when people see it as a booking on option here at Roar Boudoir.
Well, it’s kind of exatally what it sounds like. We fill out wet set with a combination of milk and water, throw some flowers in and shoot. It’s a VERY popular choice for maternity boudoir - but I think it looks awesome even if you’re not expecting. Flowers can be an amazing personal touch as well. Real flowers float best but we can hack silk flowers to work too!
Here are a few examples from over the years. It’s a really fun session - even if it’s a bit kooky. :)
I get a number of questions about my VIP Boudoir club Roar Society, so I thought I’d take a quick second to give you the run down. My VIP Boudoir club is simply a private closed group (a “club” if you will) that consists of current, past, and future boudoir clients. It’s a safe space for you to ask questions and share inspirational images or stories, to collaborate and bond with other women who are just like you. All members of Roar Society are women.
I’ll also use this group to post upcoming mini session dates, specials, and to get feedback on new ideas for my studio regarding locations, props, new products, and even editing styles. For example all these images our from our newest mini session offering #hotlinebabe. Roar Society has known about these theme for about a month before it was posted publicly and there were even fun pre-sale deals. Want to Book This Theme for yourself?
My VIP Boudoir club is free — I only ask that you bring your best attitude to lean into the atmosphere of lifting other women up and having a great time! Oh and appreciating a good meme doesn’t hurt either! Hope to see you there! Click here to apply!
We introduced our milk bath sessions as our first creative mini shoot. Milk bath shoots are super popular with many of our client's thanks to the boho, ethereal look it can give. Maternity and beauty shoot both look amazing in our milk bath set! In addition to being able to book the milk bath set in our creative mini sessions, you can also add the milk bath session on to any solo session!
Our beautiful client featured in this blog post opted to include it, and we think her photos came out absolutely marvelously! We also wanted to thank her for allowing us to share some of her favorites.
