So what exactly is a virtual session you might ask?
We get to hang out via video chat!
I direct you on where to place your camera and how to pose.
Then I edit the images in a way that makes them look less like a cellphone shot and more like an actual photoshoot!
(The magic is totally in the posing and editing 😏)
Is this like a photoshoot in your studio?
This is mostly a fun way to kill time and raise funds to keep the studio open. While we’ll get some shots that are great, but it’s nothing compared to a Roar Boudoir Session in studio. We supply hair, makeup, wardrobe, professional lighting and sets. It’s a whole other kind of experience! I do love the idea of photographing clients in their own space, your stuff can add a whole different level of personalization.
We’re doing the best with the cards that the Covid19 pandemic has dealt us, so let’s have some fun at home together while we can’t shoot in the studio.
What do I need to do a shoot?
You will need minimum the following for a successful Roar Boudoir Virtual Session:
A phone, laptop, or tablet that can do facetime or facebook video chats
A room with a window that gets natural light
a stack of books/boxes/furniture that you can move around to act as a tripod.
a good internet connection
about 15-30 minutes of time
Things that are great to have for your session but not necessary:
a tripod if you’re using your phone. I like this one and it’s really inexpensive. Click here to see what we recommend on amazon (it’s an affiliate link).

Can you print anything from these sessions?
While the quality of these images aren’t something I would recommend for our regular products, we have created a product where these will shine! We’re brining a bit of the analogue world into our digital sessions. We’ve created a product using REAL instant film prints in a beautiful case. A little bit retro and a lot a bit sexy!
